It is our wine that transmits the most classic style of Priorat wines without leaving a current enological point of view, it is a wine with lots of fruit on the nose, and mineral aromatic nuances (slate stone), in the mouth it has structure and excellent acidity that enhances the fruit of its grapes in a firm and mineral aftertaste. Its name comes from the mountain that is right in front of our winery and that shelters it from inclement weather and frost. It comes from the oldest vines of the estate of the Garnacha and Samsó varieties and of lower production. It is usually aged in French oak barrels for 15 to 20 months. The production of this wine does not exceed 18 thousand bottles per vintage. We believe it has a minimum aging potential of 12 years, although if well preserved it can exceed 25 years.
