It is our estate wine, made from grapes from almost all the sectors and vineyards into which we have divided it, so we always say that it is the wine that reflects the personality of our soils and vineyards. Jaros is 100% Tinto Fino / Tempranillo. After the harvest, the wines resulting from the different sectors destined for ‘Jaros’ are classified by tasting, and depending on their expression they are aged in different types of barrels. At the end of the process (normally aged in barrels between 15 and 17 months) we make the blend (selection) that we like best and bottle it. This wine transmits a fruity depth, soil, a very special and exclusive fruit from our estate, bathed in soft menthol and balsamic notes, with a character that is reminiscent of ripe cherry dipped in chocolate. We believe it has an ageing potential of about 12 years, although it can still be enjoyed after 25. Production ranges between 75,000 and 125,000 bottles per vintage. ‘Jaros’ means a small holm oak forest and refers specifically to the centenary forest at the entrance of our estate and Bodega.
