Yaso 2021

The Toro Denomination of Origin is given to wines from our Yaso estate, near Morales de Toro (Zamora), planted with Tinta de Toro, a Tempranillo clone adapted to this area. The vineyards are more than 20 years old, with sandy, clayey soils with pebbles and different orientations. In this area we also have old vineyards in El Pego and Valdefinjas, from where we obtain the grapes for the Matteria variety. Yaso is aged for 4 to 6 months in new French oak barrels. The 2021 season had a good end of cycle and excellent ripening of the grapes, which allowed us to produce this excellent wine. Yaso 2021 is a wine with fruity aromas, with hints of cherry and sensations of cherry jam, including floral tones of violets and scrubland. It is a very pleasant wine in the mouth, producing fruity and fresh sensations, with volume and sweetness.
