Yaso Matteria 2018

Yaso Matteria Viñas Viejas is a wine produced after 15 years of study and research of the best vineyards of the D.O Toro. The project ended in 2014 after 5 vinifications in which we used very old grapes from the villages of El Pego and Valdefinjas. 100% Tinta de Toro wine. Yaso Matteria Viñas Viejas is one of our most exclusive wines, having a limited production of bottles. For its production we use selected grapes from our old vineyards located in El Pego and Valefinjas. This area has very poor, sandy soils with pebbles, ideal for grape development. It is aged for 28 months in French oak barrels. Yaso Matteria is a wine with body and structure, yet very fine and balanced. It has intense aromas of black fruits, mineral, menthol, creamy toast and floral notes of violets, which give it a feminine touch. It is a sweet wine in the mouth, very fruity and powerful with a very long aftertaste.
